Namibia is a self-drive country. The roads are gravel but good, the distances are long and the scenery changes every hour. Sossusvlei’s dunes at dawn, Dead Vlei’s white pan and black trees, Swakopmund on the cold Atlantic coast, and Etosha in the north where the waterholes bring lions, rhino and elephant to you.
